7scenes is a platform that provides you with all the tools you need to develop your Scenes – location-based tours and games for smartphones. It’s a suite with an authoring toolkit, apps for iPhone and Android, project community and admin tools.
We also integrate nicely with your business. We can brand and customize our platform exclusively for your company delivering you your own iPhone and Android Apps and integrated webplatform, all based on our core technology.

Create
Our online authoring toolkit lets you create a Scene in just 5 steps. You start out with choosing out of our interactive templates to base your Scene on. We have quite a few and add more as we go along. From guided tours with a Place sequence to free discovery to multi-player roleplaying and trading games. Now just simply drag and drop Places onto a map to link photos, video, sounds, notes, tasks, opinions, rewards and more to locations.
Play
After installing our free Apps from the AppStore or Android Market, players choose a Scene they want to play and start navigating on a map. When they are near a Place it will automatically activate and e.g. play a video, sound or ask you to do a challenge. In a multi-player game players see others live on the map as well and can interact (eg trade) when they are close to each other.
Share
Players can share their experience in many ways. They can share Scenes, Places and photos they take along the way with their friends on Facebook and Twitter. Players can also leave messages at Places, creating discussions at locations between players. And finally after playing players get a chance to review Scenes so you know exactly what they like.
Manage
All player activity is stored, so you can playback Traces and see how your Scenes are experienced. A Trace not only shows the GPS tracks, but also which Places were visited, answers were given and media that was uploaded. Additional online statistics let you dive deeper into your Scene usage over time.
Integrate
7scenes is a platform that can also be customized to fit your specific needs. This could mean developing new features and integrating with your external systems like media databases for instance. But this could also mean creating a branded version of our iPhone or Android App, based on your visual design and of course showing only your Scenes. Last, you can have a fully branded version of the entire platform, so including our webapps. This gives you access to all features and the opportunity to build your business case.
