Organisations can simply subscribe to our location-based content publishing service on a yearly basis. But that is not all. We offer a range of additional services, so you can be sure your location-based project gets implemented by your standards.

As a sub of Waag Products - Waag Society's product company - we have years of experience creating innovative location-based concepts and we'd like to share that experience.

Here's what we offer: 

Subscription

  • a project website at http://www.7scenes.com/[your_project] that you can manage yourself.
  • a page for each scene you publish showing both scene information and user traces and media.
  • hosting of all of your project content and content generated by your users.
  • access to our easy-to-use online authoring tools allowing you to create/edit and publish content at any time.
  • a range of interactive formats to base your games or tours on.
  • possibility to create events for specific people at a specific place and time.
  • easy management of contributors to your project.
  • easy sign-up procedure for user accounts.
  • statistic overview of usage.
  • online and offline support.

Specifics

We strongly believe in a fair-use policy and do not want to restrict organisations in making beautiful content. We only act on misuse of our services.

  • 'unlimited' number of published scenes, contributors and user accounts.
  • 250 MB media storage per user account.

Workshops

  • Basic introduction workshop: what is 7scenes and what can location-based content mean for my organisation?
  • Concept workshop: creating killer concepts tailored to your organisations needs.
  • Content workshop: perfect one or more of these concepts and make beautiful content.
  • Implementation workshop: how to offer your audience mobile content and make it work within your logistics and communications.

All of the workshops are done closely together with people from your organisation that will (eventually) work with these mobile experiences. Of course not all workshops might apply to your situation.

Upcoming features

There are some important features that are currently in the works that we don't want to keep from you.

Pay-per-use
With this feature we allow you to charge your audience for the mobile experience you offer them. You also get the possibility to distribute 'action-codes' amongst specific users so they don't have to pay.

Distribution license
Interested in offering mobile content, but publishing is not your business? You might for instance be a hotel or conference hall. You can license content from other organisations and split the revenue of its usage.

Historic maps
To enrich the mobile experience we are adding the possibility of using historic maps on both the web and mobile platform. Navigating a historic map has the magic effect of transporting you to another world.
