Why reviews are important

Let's be honest: we all love to judge. These days, that comes in quite handy. Review sites and apps are booming, and give us the opportunity to review pretty much everything that comes to mind. 

A major part of online reviewing is done just done on everyday products, but on tourism and hospitality. Restaurants, hotels, bars, activities, sights, museums and locations are reviewed by huge amounts of people. And we can say quite generally: those reviews are read by huge amounts of people. More importantly: they use those reviews to decide whether to visit those places

So if you think about a digital solution for your visitors, think about those reviewers, and how to implement reviews in your interaction design and user experience.
